TETTMANN.DOUST had a close working friendship with YANDELL WALTON, the following projection works are a selection of what we created together with our team of creatives.

Selected by Independent Film Company ‘No Home’ to create a short film which facilitates a conversation between fashion and film, Yandell produced a short-film featuring garments from emerging Melbourne fashion label Tettmann.Doust. Conveying the journey of one person facing a transformative process, the film is inspired by the mythology of Shapeshifting and incorporates animal life that inspired the 2012 Collection, ‘Aves Insecta’. The film will follow a brief moment where an individual ascends, one step at a time, capturing the intensity of intention and representing an emotional metamorphosis. Yandell’s short film will debut at the Australian Center for Moving Image (ACMI) on March 3rd-5th 2012 and screen at Fashion Week’s throughout Australia in 2012, including L’Oréal Melbourne Fashion Festival, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival (Sydney), Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival (Brisbane), Perth Fashion Festival and BMW Adelaide Fashion Festival. Accomplished projection installation artist Yandell Walton collaborates with fashion label Tettmann.Doust to illuminate the themes behind their current Autumn Winter collection 2013, Infinitum. This piece delves into the universal language of mathematics. From the stuff of clouds, crystals and lightening, to the digital realm of modelling and revolutionised computer graphics, fractals allow people to analyse and mimic nature’s elaborate process of creation. This work reflects a heightened state, one that is non-terminating and suspended in time using a holographic like film in the window of Signet Bureau for The Gertrude Street Projection Festival 2013.
